*** An Important and Stunning 18th century Chinoiserie Red Lacquered Cabinet on Stand with 10 drawers. (The stand may be of a later period). Brass fittings and hinges and painted scenes all over, including the top. Height 155 cm Width 87.5 cm Depth 43 cm ***
*** Shoji Hamada. Square press moulded shallow dish in pale green ash glaze with wax resist pattern and tenmoku over glaze, 28 cm x 28 cm. Provenance: Bought by vendor's father through Canterbury Museum from Exhibition of Hamada's work held there in conjunction with Pan Pacific Exhibition in 1965 (some documentation) ***
