Under and over double rifle by Friedrich Heym of Germany. 7x67 calibre back action side lock ejector. Serial number 77105. Whole of action beautifully engraved with deer scene one side and boar scene on the other. Stock in excellent condition with cheek piece and ebonite butt plate. Overall condition is pristine. With telescopic sight and aim point sight. Has variable power sight 1 1/2 - 4 1/2 with quick detachable claw mounts both fitted to the same base. Superbly accurate.…

William Powell double barrel, side by side hammerless, best quslity No. 1 ejector, nitro proof 12 gauge shotgun. Serial No. 12675 manufactured circa 1920. Barrel address William Powell and Son, 35 Carrs Lane, Birmingham. Side locks and trigger guard fine English style engraving with hunting scene and makers name. Barrels, trigger guard and top lever have been reblued. Walnut stock (marbled) and fore-end in beautiful condition. Overall condition is excellent.

The 1915 Diary of James Temple Fisher plus numerous postcards, photos and prints. James (b. 1890) arrived in Nz from Queensland in 1894. He served in Gallipoli and France until he was wounded by a gas bomb. He was returned to the Uk where he underwent skin grafts and convalesced for about eight months. While convalescing he studied journalism and was awarded a Diploma from London University. He joined the Nz Railways upon his return where he worked until retiring in 1949.

Tube Lock 7 bore fowling piece, single barrel muzzle loading circa 1820. Indistinct maker on side lock, possible Clayton. 48" nicely rebrowned barrel. Woodwork in beautiful condition. Engraving on side lock, trigger guard and breech tang. Overall very good condition with some restoration work done to lock.

WWI Diary of Magnus Burns Clarke, 23rd Reinfs. who was a porter and embarked New Zealand in April 1917. The SS Corinthic went via America and arrived at Cape Town 2 May 1917, finally docking in England 10 June 1917. Although of Scottish descent, Clarke was in NZ at the time of the war. This 1918 diary details the service of Clarke as a member of the Canterbury Infantry Battalion in France.…
