*** The Jersey Worn by All Blacks Captn. Ron Elvidge when he scored the winning and only try in the 3rd test against the Lions in 1950 while injured. This famous jersey (complete with Athletic Park mud) was given to the team masseur, George Burton in recognition and thanks for being patched up, allowing Ron to return to the field after severely injuring his collar bone and breaking his ribs in the first half.… ***
*** Good Quality Sterling Silver Lynx Symbol of The Skinners Company with collar around neck marked 'Coronation 1902' and under one paw the #168. Maker Edward Barnard & Sons Ltd., London 1902. Height 12 cm ***

He attended the 1936 Berlin Olympics where he obtained Jack Lovelock's signature. In 1945 he was accepted by the Un as Welfare Relief Officer in Warsaw (Unrra).
