Below is a Maori Warrior with facial moko and holding a Taiaha. The top figure is of a tiki with tongue outstretched and holding an adze with artificial greenstone coloured adze head. Both figures have inset paua shell eyes. Height 2130 cm. The panel was carved in a Maori Carving School in the main thermal area of central Rotorua.… ***
